Nexar Solutions ("Nexar," "we," "us") provides Nexar Field Brain, a software application that connects a business's existing tools, such as QuickBooks Online and Google Calendar, so that information entered once is reflected across those systems automatically. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and how it is protected.,


Who this applies to

This policy applies to businesses and individuals who use Nexar Field Brain ("you," "the user"). Nexar Field Brain is provided directly to businesses we work with under a services agreement; it is not distributed as a public consumer app.


Information we access

To operate, Nexar Field Brain connects to third-party services you authorize, currently QuickBooks Online and Google Calendar. Depending on which connections you authorize, we may access:

  • QuickBooks Online: customer records, invoices, estimates, and related accounting data necessary to create or update those records on your behalf.

  • Google Calendar: calendar events, including event titles, times, and notes, for the calendar you connect.

  • Information you provide directly to the app, such as spoken or typed job updates.


We access only the data necessary to perform the specific actions you have configured.  For example, creating an invoice or updating a calendar event. We do not browse, export, or make use of data beyond what a given action requires.


How we use information

Information accessed through connected services is used solely to operate the workflows you have set up, for example turning a spoken job update into an invoice draft in QuickBooks and a corresponding calendar entry. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your business data to train AI models.


How information is stored

Authorization tokens and application data are stored on infrastructure we control, encrypted at rest, and accessible only to authorized personnel at Nexar. We do not store your QuickBooks or Google account password; access is granted and can be revoked at any time through the standard OAuth authorization each provider offers.


Who has access

Access to stored data and system infrastructure is limited to Nexar's founders. We do not share your data with third parties except the service providers strictly necessary to operate the app (for example, our hosting provider), each of whom is bound by their own security obligations.


Data retention and deletion

We retain data for as long as your account with Nexar is active. If you cancel service, you may request a full export of your data, and we will delete stored data and revoke stored authorization tokens within a reasonable period after your request, consistent with our services agreement.


Your controls

You may disconnect QuickBooks Online or Google Calendar from Nexar Field Brain at any time, either through the app or directly through that provider's own account security settings. Disconnecting revokes our access immediately.


Security

We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we access, including encryption of stored credentials and restricting the scope of API access to only the actions a given workflow requires. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
